the situation
The frontend organization was its own bottleneck. Reusing shared UI took six to eight weeks per project, so teams rebuilt the same components from scratch instead. Builds ran painfully slow, blocking development daily. The whole product roadmap moved at the speed of the slowest frontend dependency.
